I have booked and been charged and confirmed for a flight from Barcelona to London in June with an email from Vueling. However, unlike other Vueling flights I have booked, the website will not let me enter Advanced Passenger Information (passport # etc.) or let me print a boarding pass. The Vueling website just says "the USA is not on a list that allows API to be entered online, please arrive at the airport early to print your boarding pass. I have never been to Barcelona and this seems unusual and I have heard you can not print boarding passes at the airport so I am concerned. Has anyone experienced this?

I was in Barcelona last summer and flew to Madrid and back and had no problems. I believe I was on Iberia, not Vueling. They have let you print your boarding pass more than 24 hours before your flight? I think with Iberia I got an email 24 hours before that allowed me to check in online and access my boarding pass on my phone, which worked fine in both the Barcelona and Madrid airports. If you need to print your boarding pass (which I'm sure would be no problem at the airport), or check bags, the lines can be rather long in Barcelona, just as in any other major international hub. The airport is very modern and very easy to get through (I don't remember security being any longer than here in the US).

Vueling allows you to pre-print your boarding pass 24h in advance for most destinations, yet it's the destination country the one setting the rules... I'm afraid you'll have to complain to your transport authority (the TSA?) :)))
What about the mobile checking procedure?... I've been using it for ages with Vueling and it's the most convenient way... does this flight of yours allow this type of check-in? http://www.vueling.com/en/we-are-vueling/vueling-online/vueling-mobile

Does your flight leave from Barcelona El Prat or from the airfield in Girona?

Thank you all for your replies. I was able to reach a Vueling representative after 5 mintues on hold and he tried to enter my advanced passenger information without success. He thought it was a computer glitch on their end and advised me to check in at the El Prat airport 2 hours before the flight to get a boarding pass, so I think that seems to be our only option.
