Has anyone booked with Vueling Air? We are struggling to get tickets from Tenerife North to Seville. Any advice?
Yes, many times. They are a budget subsidiary of Iberia and are fine....we took Vueling from Galicia to Lanzarote last year and I am booked with them again to Sevilla in March. Just be careful of add-ons...the flights sound very cheap at first, but you haver to add luggage fees, etc....still cheaper than flying Iberia.
Yes! Thank you for your confirmation!!
We flew Vueling a couple years ago from Nice to Barcelona. As the previous reply stated, there can be a nickel-and-dime attribute with extras. Think we pre-paid when booking for an extra bag (to be checked) so there wouldn't be any surprises. There weren't, and the flight and crew were great. Would fly them again without hesitation.
We've used them a number of times. Cheap, reliable and stress-free
If I can add a question that's related to this topic:
What should I assume if we're taking Vueling from Granada to Barcelona about the carry-on versus checked bag fees? We take carry ons that are allowed on American Airlines, but will they be allowed as such on Vueling or should I just pay for 2 checked bags when buying these tickets.
Thanks for any help!
I can't say for sure how you will fare, but I fly on them with the same checked bags I take on other airlines. I've never had my carry=on bags measured.

Good question. I wouldn't know what to say, sorry... just keep in mind that unless those are "connection flights" -that is, handled by the original airline- they'd be considered "unrelated", therefore each airline would apply their own rules, whatever they are. Unless much has changed, that was the way it used to work a few years back.
Thanks everyone!
I made an executive decision to trust that no one is going to be running around with a measuring tape, and my husband bought his travel case through Rick Steves, who advertised it as being acceptable on all the flights he has used throughout Europe. We're only off by a couple cm - so I'm feeling confident! We're traveling in Spain and Portugal in May, so hopefully we won't need to be too bulky.
