In researching my plans for Spain next April, I've discovered the entire time I planned in Seville (4days/4nights) is during the April Fair. I’m sure it would be fun to see some of the Fair but I’m wondering how seeing the rest of Seville would be during this busy time? Also, we hoped to do a day trip during that time to Cordoba. Is transportation affected when leaving the city? I understand there will be humongous crowds within the city. Should I try to juggle my schedule and move Sevilla to have just a bit of an overlay with the Fair rather than the entire stay?
Seville will be crowded and accommodation prices will be about double the norm.
The fairground is filled with private casitas/bars with limited access for visitors.
Good to look at, as are the people dressed up in traditional dress and riding horses and in carriages.
We found the Cordoba and Jerez fairs much nicer.
