Does anyone know of any vineyards or wineries near Tarragona, Spain that are worth checking out?

I have no idea about the Tarragona area but nothing will be happening for many months of the year but to look at empty trees or trees with fruit on and standing machinery and implements. You do not say when.

Simon Coll has several combined chocolate and wine tours if you look at their company web page,
and if you write to the Tarragona TI office they will send you more info about local vineyards.
I've got the idea in the back of my head that it would be fun to do the full day scooter rental that the TI promotes and go and check out nearby ruins, and now your question also adds wineries to that potential plan!
