We have a 6:30 am flight (yikes!) departing from Madrid in September. We then change planes in Paris for our flight to Detroit.
We want to stay at an airport hotel the night before since we're slightly nervous flyers and that makes us more comfortable.
Any suggestions for an airport hotel? We'd like to be able to get a shuttle around 4 am. Thanks!
I've never stayed here before but it is right at the airport Terminal 4 meaning you don't need a shuttle or a taxi at 4 am just walk

Have you tried various search engines, especially using the map feature to find an acceptable hotel? My experience is that early morning shuttle services to airports are sometimes delayed because it's when even roosters are still asleep or that the hotel wishes to aggregate riders so may not depart at the posted times. Arranging a taxi the night before through the hotel desk, whether in the centrum or near the airport, has never failed me to date.
We are staying at this place since we also have an early flight out of Madrid. It was recommended to us by flight attendants who use it all the time. It is a big apartment bldg. and meant to be mostly short stays close to the airport. They offer free shuttle service, also close to metro for access from the city. It is listed under Airbnb. and very reasonable. If you have questions, you can email them and they are fairly prompt to answer.

My mom and I stayed at the NH Madrid Barajas Hotel, which offers a free shuttle service to the airport.
I don't know what time the shuttle starts running, so I'd suggest calling them first before you book at 1 212 219 7607 (US)
