In March we will be in Barcelona for 1 week, Malaga for 1 week, After visiting Valencia for 13 days, we have 4 unplanned nights before flying out of Barcelona. Tarragon sounds interesting. We would appreciate any suggestions. We did visit Madrid, Sevilla, Toledo, Granada last year. Loved them all. What would you do? Thanks
Look for my posts about Tarragona from last year -- if you settle in it can be fantastic and worth several days. More unspoiled than Girona. Important paleo-xtian sites and Napoleonic connections, too, that build on the ancient Roman underpinnings. Side trips are pretty. If you don't get enough beach time in Malaga, there's a simple playa or two there as well.

Thank you so much for the information and web sites. Your recommendation of Hotel Placa de la Font looks great. We are thinking we'll spend 3 nights there and maybe do a side trip. Excited now to add this to the itinerary. Appreciate this forum and your response.
