Valencia Spain to Malaga Spain

There is a direct AVE train, just over 4 hrs ... Valencia J.Sorolla - Malaga M.Zambrano. I recall doing the reverse trip in 2015 had a stop in Cordoba. Schedules are probably not up yet and tickets are available 60-90 days in advance.

Almost all the trains listed for Monday are AVEs requiring a change in either Cordoba or Madrid. The direct train is listed as an AVCity train; it's not the very fastest option, but with no transfer, it will still get you to Malaga in less than 5 hours. I imagine it's cheaper than the AVE trains, so I'd consider it a good option if you're OK with a 5:15 PM departure time.
