Hi! We’re planning a family trip for 10 days in Valencia in late January. I’m looking for suggestions on accommodations (condo, house, apartment) for 9 adults and 2 children (4 + bedrooms) in the historic section of the city or walking distance. Any ideas? Tips?

I can offer one "tip" - don't bother consulting the most current copy (2020) of the RS Spain guidebook. There is not one word on the topic of Valencia in it.

Well, few Americans spend enough time in Spain for Valencia to float to the top of their lists. It is a perfectly pleasant city, and the January weather should be much better than what we get in a lot of the US, but Valencia is not Barcelona, Seville, Cordoba, Granada or Toledo. I spent several nights in Valencia earlier this year and enjoyed my time, but it was near the end of 4-1/2 months in Spain (spread across two trips).
