Planning on visiting this place on either November 11th or 12th. Is this something you have to buy tickets for in advance or can you just turn up on the day? Cheers.
Just turn up and go. The nearby Oceanogràfic is also worthwhile, in my opinion. A top-class aquarium.
We were in Valencia 2 weeks ago - a beautiful city, one of the surprises of our trip. We stayed in a hotel on one of the main plazas (Plaza del Ayuntamiento); hotel Venecia, recommended by a few people on this forum, and it was just wonderful - our room with an awesome view, was right on the plaza.
We visited the City of Arts & Science complex because we like Calatrava and modern architecture - stunning. You don't need any tickets to visit the site or the inside of the buildings. We took a public bus to the place, easy and fast.
Have fun.
We spend a few weeks in Valencia yearly.
November is one of the best months in Valencia, slight chill but whatever month we visit its mostly blue skies.
We cycle from the old town to The Arts and Sciences most days, through the stunning Turia Park.
You don’t require Tickets on entry. There are a few restaurants at the City of Arts and Sciences
Valencia is one of our favorite European Cities.
Enjoy
Cheers all. I was in Seville/Cordoba earlier in the year and was surprised that you needed to book slots in advance to go to the big tourist sites. Sounds like Valencia will be easier to access.
