I have to change planes at AMS on my way to MAD. Spain only requires you to be fully vaccinated. Do I need a negative Covid test to change planes at AMS?
you should really ask your airline and/or check the AMS airport website, there are weird rules for transit that vary in each Euro city
Yes, i think you do need a negative test even if your final destination doesn’t require it. My understanding is that AMS has some of the strictest transit requirements. A lot of airlines are canceling flights to that airport because of it.
(Of course do your own research to confirm, but i changed my flight to go through CDG because it was going to be very expensive for me to get a test that would work with the AMS requirements.)
We transferred through Amsterdam sept 7 and didn’t need a separate test. We are vaccinated. Do not know if it changed since then.
