I was wondering if anyone has experience using Uber to get from the Bilbao airport into the city.

As a Bilbao local, I would use a taxi, readily available right on exit. It´s a very small airport and you can´t miss it. Uber will normally be more expensive, and taxis are totally reliable, safe and extremely clean and professional.

Why do people keep asking about using taxi apps in Spain? Regular taxis are so good.

I am a single woman traveling from Bilboa to Zarautz. Is it safe to get a taxi on my own from the taxi line or better to book a service? What can I expect to pay?

Taxis are extremely safe. Somewhere around 180eur.
