Our cruise line offers a UNESCO meal as an excursion while in Bordeaux, but it is already sold out for June 11. Is there another way to experience this unique meal, included on UNESCO's Lists of Intangible Cultural Heritage?
Do you realize this is the Spanish forum and that Bordeaux is in France?... just saying.
Bordeaux is in France. You posted this in Spain. You may get more answers if you post a copy in France.
I saw the description and the only thing it says that is different from any other four-course meal in France is that they say you'll laugh and have a good time. Being part of a French family I can tell you that indeed Sunday lunch may wrap up at 6 pm but we'll start all over again with a before dinner drink at 7 pm. And the stories flow. At weddings dancing starts at 10 or 11 and goes til 5 am. Wow--UNESCO has classified that!
So if you can't make it off the waitlist for the tour, just add the joie de vivre, tons of wine, and let the good stories flow at whichever tour you do choose. I've got a feeling that at the chateaux the only difference is that they'll make sure everyone has plenty of aperatif and wine and organizers will animate the atmosphere to be sure people laugh, hear stories and have a good time.

Gosh, so the rest of us don't break bread, just the French? How absurdly ridiculous.
