Does Uber operate in Madrid or other Spanish cities? Is the service reliable?

Uber operates in most Spanish cities EXCEPT Barcelona. It is reliable in Madrid, and cheap. Or at least, 18 months ago it was. No experience of Uber in other Spanish cities.

You could also look into Cabify, the local Spanish alternative to UBER.
