On our upcoming family vacation in July and we will be basing ours in San Sebastian for 4 nights during part of the portion while in Basque Country. We'll have a car rental.
Any recommendations on Pintxos tours and food experiences in San Sebastian?
And recommendations on wineries that produce the local Txakoli wine.

I can only recommend Devour Tours by reputation, and the fact that I routinely steal their suggestions and itineraries, as well as info from one of their founders, James Blick, via his "Spain Revealed" YouTube channel. Everything I picked up was solid information.

It worked well for me a couple years ago, though it seems they have not updated it lately. Not only does it list some tasty pintxos, and where, but gives a good description and a picture.

Thanks for your message. Funny side note, I am currently listening to Spain Revealed. I found the channel a few weeks ago.
Txakoli is a wine that has evolved from a "house" wine to something more delicate now. There are three different D.Os producing this wine, which is white, red or rosé, and even "champagne" from txakoli. The one drunk in Donostia-San Sebastian comes from Getariako Txakolina D.O., while in the neighboring province of Bizkaia (Bilbao as capital) you´ll drink Bizkaiko Txakolina and in the southern Basque region of Araba you´ll drink Arabako Txakolina from this D.O. Different wines, different tastes. And that funny thing they do for tourists in Donostia-San Sebastian, pouring it from above...well...quite funny for us...
