Two Unrelated Barcelona Questions

Two Unrelated Barcelona Questions

  1. How long should we plan to see the Gaudi works in Parc Güell (not each and every bench, but the building works)? We’d like to visit later in the afternoon and allow ample time to visit Casa-Museu Gaudi which I believe closes at 20:00 hr in August. We’d like to remain in the Parc until sunset.
  2. We are aware of the Forum and Torre Agbar (which we want to visit at night); but where in Barcelona should we go to see examples of other noteworthy new architecture?

As I always mention to my friends visiting Barcelona, we Barcelonians are very prone to nickname stuff (monuments and the like), so for example, this is the dildo, this is the stapler (which btw, it's in front of the previous), etc... and Gehry's fish we call it the nun's hat.... why?.... c'mon, this vs this every can see that, right? :)))

Ah yes, and the Forum is referred to as the "quesito" (cheese), and you can see a resemblance here: Forum vs quesito because this is a very typical snack for kids so everybody knows it. Well, to be honest, is probably better known to the older generations, youngsters these days eat other stuff.

PS: Yes, there are a few I can't name here, this is a public forum, and children could be reading it, ha!
