I'v been trying for 3 days to purchase tickets for the Alcazar for Monday, May 21st on the Alcazar website. It won't take either of my Visa credit cards. I've contacted the credit card companies, and they both said that the purchases were not getting through to them, they were not denied by the credit card. I've looked at two other sites that charge fees for the tickets, but they don't sell tickets for any Mondays or for the Royal Apartments. Any help or suggestions? Thanks

The same thing happened to me last month. Try using PayPal. It worked for me

I bought tix about a week ago. It wouldn’t take my Visa either. It did work with a MasterCard - give it a try if you have one!

I bought them on-line last year using my Visa card. I'm able to select tickets for Monday, May 21 now for several time slots.
(I did have to use Paypal for some of the train tickets purchases on-line.)

I am having the same problem. it won't accept either MasterCard or Visa and I see no way to enter paypal. any suggestions would be helpful. thank you

Would highly suggest buying the Cuarto Real the Monarchs Quarters additional tour. Was wonderful and when we were there people were turned away as all the tickets were sold out.

yes. time slots can be chosen but he credit cards are denied

I'm told Mastercard and Paypal work most often. Drusso, when do you plan to go? I'm going in November and was told I don't need to prepurchase. Another thought, Rick Steves recommends a local guide Concepcion. She has a small company with two other guides. The prices for Alcazar seemed quite reasonable and her company buys the ticket for you. She only works a few days a week, however (she's a mom of young kids)

I worked for me, I used Visa by Chase. On the page for verify by visa, when I usually have to enter my password, it didn't, and just let my transaction went through.
