I’m travelling to Spain, from the UK, in August, with my step daughter who is 12, she is unvaccinated. She has a British passport and I have an Irish passport. I think if she is travelling with me (I am the an EU citizen) she does not need to be vaccinated and can just do the usual antigen tests? Is that correct? I cannot find this information on the official Spanish guidance page. From what I have seen it says “travelling with an EU family member” we are not blood relations so will she still be exempt from
Vaccination ?
The way I read the guidance is that children under 12 do not need to be fully vaccinated.
Unvaccinated over 12s can only enter for essential purposes (not tourism) and must present a negative covid test

I also read it that as she is 12, she should be vaccinated to enter Spain. There’s enough time to get her vaccinated before your trip.
I did not read the entirety of the link in the 1st response, but it appears anyone age 12, or older, has to be vaccinated in order to enter as a 'tourist'.
Seems the easiest solution is to get vaccinated.
Our granddaughter is still going to be 11 when we travel to London the end of May. Technically (as of now) the vaccine is not required.
But we're going to get her vaccinated anyway. If just to shut up any authority we come in contact with and make our trip smoother.
@David, there is also the reason to help protect her health.😀
...and the health of others. Lots of good reasons.
If getting someone to "shut up" is what it takes, that's OK -- pick any reason that works for you.
Use the Serpa website, there easy to understand and keep the info updated.
