What is the best way to travel between Sevilla and Ronda?
Damas Bus has direct route Sevilla Plaza de Armas bus station to Ronda bus station.
Train is possible but involves a connection and will probably take quite a bit more time.
Bus is a perfectly adequate way to travel in Spain.
We drove from Sevilla to Grazelema, overnighted and drove to some of the white villages--Zahara and Ronda included. We then drove to Granada and returned the car.
Bus worked well for us.
Coming from Seville (or going to, from Ronda) the bus is the best option. If you are continuing on, to Malaga or Grenada, after Ronda, bus or train works well.
Always wise to put month and year in any query. Also next destination.
We had a rental car, for local trips from three nights in Ronda. Posts here suggest that the bus can be tedious. However, our plan to hit some white villages was so tedious we gave up the local, winding roads with a village in sight, and continued on to Ronda without stopping. The drive was otherwise lovely, with rapeseed and sunflowers most of the way. Stopped at a random restaurant that was parked-up by both cars and trucks, for a good lunch. Stopped in the morning at Arcos de la Frontera for just an hour or two. (Note narrow arches and streets in Arcos, but the visit is mostly walking from a parking lot.
We drove to Granada next, where we returned the car, up on the sidewalk (!) per Hertz instructions.
