Hello everyone,
I plan to travel with my husband and 2 year old to Seville, Spain March 8-13, 2019. I looked at the weather, and the high is around 68. Is it that warm most of the day? Or is it only warm for a few hours and then cold the rest of the day? I don't want it to be too cold for my son since we will be doing a lot of walking outside. Thanks for your input.
The averages for the month (your period will probably be a little cooler) are 71.4F (high) and 48.6F (low), so it is not going to be around 68F for most of the day unless you have an extremely unusual March heat wave. For at least some cities I've seen hour-by-hour historical temperatures on wunderground.com. I'm having computer/ISP issues and can't get that website to open properly at the moment. Perhaps you'll have better luck. Choose History > Monthly, then set the date to March 2018 using the pull-down boxes. If that doesn't give hourly temperatures, also try History > Daily for March 11.
I second what acraven wrote. I'd just add that weather isn't as predictable as it once was, so it's best to be prepared for a range of weather by packing layers that you can add or take off depending on how cold or warm it is. Also, if you click the "weather" tab at this link, you can see average highs and los for Seville by month. Happy travels!
Since it is early March there is potential for rain so it is reasonable to expect cool, damp, and rainy weather. The high temp generally occurs about noon till mid afternoon with a slow run up to the temperature. It will cool off at night since it is early Spring. But that is also an average and that means it could higher or lower. Just plan for a wider range of temperature and conditions. Remember day light hours in March will still be relatively short.
