Is February or March a nice season to visit southern Spain?

March is better, but can still be cool. It’s warmer near the coast - I have had daytime temperatures not much above freezing in inland southern Spain in early March. Granada is at altitude and the province is a ski resort, so cold!
April is even better weather wise.
The ski resort near Granada in the Sierra Nevada is over 1,000 metres higher than the city
I agree with Jennifer. Even as late as May there can be some chilly days if you’re up in the mountains, so it depends on where you intend to go.
The intended travel area is Cordoba, Granada, Seville. Then a possible move to Morocco. Feb or Mar. thoughts?
I've only been to those places in February and March. Loved it. The weather can be pretty chilly, especially in Madrid, in February, but it can also be balmy. In March the citrus trees bloom and fill the air with their heady scent. While I've had some rain, it's been mostly sunny with highs in 50s and 60s in February. March is warmer.
I wouldn't plan on sand dune or mountain visits in Morocco - the desert will be freezing cold at night and the mountains covered in snow - maybe no road access.
