I would not know what you want from 'best'.
If I had a choice and your 'am' means a very early start, I would be going with the extra sleep.

Leaving at 10:30 PM means getting in pretty late. Not sure I'd want to find my way to my hotel at almost midnight. Your other choices either mean an extra day in Granada or time to spend in Barcelona. You have to decide that.

Barcelona stays up pretty late, and I had no trouble arriving in the evening, but would probably not choose the latest option. The [airport shuttle bus](www.aerobusbcn.com) departs the airport as late as 1:00 a.m. With either later flight, be sure to tell your arrival details to your Barcelona hotel.

We decided to fly through Madrid. I bit less convenient, but we arrive in Barcelona at a reasonable hour.
