Hello, Is it possible to fly directly from Seville to the US (NYC, Phila., etc.), or is it necessary to stop somewhere (Madrid?) on the way? Thank you.

There are no direct flights from the USA to Seville. You have to stop somewhere. Try searching Google Flights
destination SVQ is the code for Seville

I am doing the same thing later this year, Seville to Dallas. I booked with American. It partners with Iberian Express from Seville to Madrid then I change to American for the flight to Dallas.
