travel from Seville to Lisbon between tour of Best of Spain and then Best of Portugal

On Sunday, June 25, our tour in Spain ends and on June 26 our trip begins in Lisbon. I have the impression that the best way to get between the two is on a bus (2 people). I also read that schedules might be less available on Sunday but I'd prefer to go then maybe. Please advise:
Should I buy a ticket on internet before I leave the US?
I am having trouble getting a route clarified and arranging the trip on the webpage.

In general, what wisdom do you have for me?

Is Alsa bus the best to go with?

Thanks for your help.

Carolyn,

I would fly from Sevilla to Lisbon.

You may check flights at skyscanner.com

Have a wonderful time in Spain and Portugal!

Edit to add...

You can certainly travel via ALSA bus, but the journey will take around 8 hours!

The ALSA bus travels to 2 different bus stations in Lisbon ( Lisboa); Oriente and Sete Rios. You'll need to know which of these stations is closest to your hotel.

Your Spain Tour does not include a visit to Cordoba and the Mezquita, so I would suggest you extend your stay an extra night in Sevilla. Make a day trip by train to Cordoba on Sunday 25th, then fly to Lisbon from Sevilla with TAP Air Portugal on Monday 26th.
