Hi all,
We will be arriving by plane into Malaga from Marrakesh at 6:20 pm on Tuesday 5/12th. From there, we are traveling directly to Cordoba. We wanted to take the bus from the center of Malaga because both our host in Cordoba and the guide we will be meeting in Cordoba said it was a beautiful ride. Based on the bus schedules and our time of arrival at Malaga airport, it doesn't look like it's going to work for us. The only (and last) bus leaving after we land that day departs from central Malaga at 7:30pm)
We're now planning on taking the train from the center of Malaga to Cordoba. The train times seem limited too. I see a Ouigo train that leaves at 9:10 pm.
Both the 7:30 pm bus (that I don't think we'd make) and the 9:10 pm train (which I hope we can make) arrive in Cordoba at 10pm. We just preferred the scenic route.
My question is---do any of you have experience arriving from out of the country into Malaga airport? I am wondering how long it generally takes to get through and get to the central train station. Is a 6:20 landing at the airport and 9:10 train departure plenty of time?
I looked at maybe changing flight departure time from Marrakesh but that is not going to work.
NOTE: I used the trainline website to search for both the bus and train options.

Unless your plane is really late arriving you should have plenty of time. I can’t speak to passing through immigration, but it’s only 15 minutes or so to the train station from the airport.
