Any thoughts or experience traveling from Granada to Seville? Deciding between train or bus.
Thanks in advance for your input.
If you decide to take the train part of the trip will be an hour bus ride to Antequerra (unless they have finished improvements to the Granada station going on 6 years). There you will board a train that will take you to Sevilla. We did it backwards and it was a seemless nice comfortable ride.
We took the train which worked well. I know nothing about the bus.

We also took the bus. It was comfortable, affordable and easy.
I took the bus and it worked well. Comfortable and easy. I say pick whichever works better timing-wise.
I had the same experience as Nestor this past year. Bus bridge to train station, then train to Seville. Experience was easy and smooth.
We took the bus from Sevilla to Granada, and it was great. Comfortable, on time, easy.
We took the train from Granada to Madrid, and it was also great; seamless transfer from bus to train at Antequera.
Agree that you should just go with whatever works best for you schedule-wise. For a longer trip, I would prefer the train, but between Granada and Sevilla, either is a good choice.
My mom and I took the ALSA bus from Córdoba to Granada, and then from Granada to Sevilla. The bus was comfortable, convenient and easy.
My main reason for taking the bus was to avoid the bus to train transfer ( in Antequera) especially since I was traveling with my 88 year old mom😉
We took a taxi to/from the bus station from/to our hotel.
Enjoy your trip!
Don’t forget to book your Alhambra tickets 3 months in advance!
Thanks for all your input! Think I will just take the bus.
