Transportation from Seville to Ronda to Malaga

Firming up our itinerary. I am having trouble finding transport from Seville to Ronda. Ideally, we (family of 4) would like to depart Seville after two days and do a day trip to Ronda on the way to Malaga (2 days) before we head to Granada (2 days) . I understand that there are no trains. I am not finding any bus schedules? I know that it is too soon for them to be posting the schedules for our Oct trip. When I pull up closer "Thursday dates" there is nothing.
The Rome2Rio app shows a 2hr 30 min bus trip through Autocares Grupo Samar that departs every 4 hours. Unfortunately their site isn't very easy to navigate.

Would like to catch an early bus. 8 am? And then would like to depart later in the afternoon to Malaga.

From Seville to Malaga there are regular trains just under 2 hours. Then the app says there is a 1hr 51 min train from Malaga to Ronda. or a 1hr 45 min bus.

Is it better to go from Seville to Malaga to Ronda to Granada? Seems like we would be backtracking. Would prefer Seville to Ronda to Malaga to Granada.

Cprice,

You can take the Los Amarillos Bus from Sevilla to Ronda.

Please be aware that the Los Amarillos website is not working properly right now but I’d try tomorrow or the next day.

You also need to know that you won’t be able to book tickets until about one week prior to your date of travel, but you can check bus schedules for the same day of the week to get an idea of the timetables.

BTW, the rome2rio website is a helpful site but I’ve noticed that its information is not always up to date.

Did you buy your Alhambra tickets already?

Enjoy your trip! 🌼

Edited to add...
I forgot to mention that you can also travel on Los Amarillos bus from Ronda to Malaga.

Exactly. I just wanted to figure out timetables. Good to know that it is just a problem with the site. I will check again this week. I have not purchased the Alhambra tickets yet. I know they sell out. Today is the first day that I have seen them available for our dates. I see they have a 10 am slot. Which tickets do you recommend?

I take that back. On the actual Alhambra site...tickets are not available yet. I guess because I am still more than 90 days out. Do you suggest a tour or general tickets?

When is your trip? September or October?

My mom and I visited the Alhambra in the afternoon mainly because I’d read that the mornings are more crowded due to tour groups.

We purchased the Alhambra General tickets and toured the Alhambra complex on our own.

If you have the RS Spain book, you can read about the Alhambra ahead of time, or you can also read about it on the Official Alhambra website .
There are also audioguides at the Alhambra but we didn’t get them.

Here’s a helpful website with information about Granada’s minibuses

I am trying to understand your schedule. You will be in Sevilla and need to end up in Granada? How many nights do you have? If you have 2 nights in Malaga, that gives you one day to get there with a stop in Ronda and one day in the city, then you're leaving for Granada. 2 nights in Granada gives you about 1/2 day on the day you arrive and one full day, maybe a few hours on the next day, depending on when you're leaving.

Backtracking isn't your problem, it's Ronda which is not served by fast train connections.

If you stop in Ronda for the day, you will have to store your luggage. I found this thread on TripAdvisor.

Oh no! Did not know about the sewage problem. Yuck.
Is it still worth going and just not getting in? Or should we go to Barcelona a little earlier than planned?

Original plan was to go from Seville stop in Ronda on the way to Malaga ...then to Granada.
Yes, Plan was to store luggage in Ronda while we are there.
