I am having trouble identifying how to go from Ronda to Cordoba (a day trip) next month.
Are there buses? Rail? Car rental? Any advice would be welcome.
In my opinion, Ronda to Cordoba is not a great choice for a day trip. Its too far. By car, its over 2 hours each direction. By public transportation, at least 3 hours, and I don't think there is anything direct.
You might consider playing around with google maps.
Cordoba is an amazing city. Its considered to be one of the 3 important Andalusia cities, with Sevilla and Granada. We stayed in Cordoba 2 nights and wished we had stayed 3. Its a beautiful city with a gorgeous, white old town, situated on a river with a roman bridge.
Cordoba is fantastic and not a day trip. Stay there for at least two nights so you have a full day in Cordoba. Ronda is a place where just one night is sufficient.
And I agree that Ronda and Cordoba are too far from each other to be a day trip.
