My family of four with luggage is traveling from the Barcelona Sant train station to an air B&B near Palau Guell. Can we get there easily using the Metro?
We will also be travelling from the air B&B to the Barcelona airport (four people with luggae). What are the best options?

With 4 people and luggage, I would suggest a taxi.
Lugging suitcases between the train station and the metro station is a huge pain. Take a taxi. We wish we had.
Four pax + luggage? if large suitcases, you might not fit in one taxi. Still, plenty of them in the taxi rank outside the station. Taxi should cost you around 20€ per taxi, tops, including supplements.
Anyhow, your journey is as easy as it gets... You could take the metro (L3 green) at the same station (Sants) and stop in Liceu, it's barely 6 stops (~15') to where you're going, the Palau Güell is around the corner.
