Transportation during trip (Barcelona/Granada/Seville/Madrid/Barcelona)

Hello this will be my first trip to Spain. I will be arriving in Barcelona for 4 nights, then travelling to Granada for 2 nights, on to Seville for 3 nights, on to Madrid for 3 nights, then back to Barcelona to fly home. What is the best way to go from Barcelona to Granada? I have heard a lot of complaints about Vueling. What are the best transportation options to the other cities? I do not feel comfortable renting a car. Is train the best option? Should I reserve train now? What site do I reserve trains on?
Thank you for your assistance!

What is the best way to go from Barcelona to Granada?

Direct flight. There are 4 a day on Vueling (all airlines have complaints I have never had problems with Vueling).

What are the best transportation options to the other cities?

Take the bus Granada to Seville.

Take the train Seville to Madrid.
Take the train Madrid to Barcelona.

Should I reserve train now?

It depends on when you are going. RENFE never has consistently made the tickets available 90 days in advance.

Iberia does not fly direct to Granada form Barcelona; you have connect in Madrid.
Iberia, Vueling are both owned by the same company.

Iryo is also a good option for the train Seville-Madrid-Barcelona, www.iryo.eu. Their website is more user friendly and they release their tickets in a more predictable manner.
