Can someone recommend the best way to get from the airport to our hotel. We will be arriving at 8 am.

Every hotel website usually has a "how to get here" section, this being no exception. Always start with the hotel website, or e-mail them if their directions aren't clear. They would have the most insight on the best way to reach them.

It appears the Herrera Oria metro stop is a couple blocks from the hotel. From the airport take the metro to the Colombia stop, then switch to metro line 9 (dark purple). Take it in the direction of Paco de Lucia. The Herrera Oria will be the sixth stop. The metro is easy to navigate.
