Transfer from one airline to another at Barcelona airport

Hi everyone

I have a question about checking in time at Barcelona airport.

My Singapore airlines plane lands at 0655 in terminal 1. I have to fly on Vueling to Amsterdam immediately.

I have 2 options to catch the 0855 or 1025 Vueling plane in the same terminal 1.

Do you think I can make it for the 0855 (cheaper by 10 euros) with checked in luggage?

And where are the procedures like? Do I have to drag my luggage to Vueling counter, check in, go through security and customs again?

Thanks!

Take the later flight.
In my opinion (and experience) it's not worth the anxiety to save 10 Euros.

Where are you coming from? You're taking some risk if your inbound flight is late, even with the later flight.

Hi everyone! Thanks for your reply! I am coming from Singapore. This is my first time visiting Spain and Amsterdam and France. So I can't wait to get my trip started in Amsterdam first.

But I think I will take your advice and take the later flight!

Just to check, so I have to go to Vueling check in counter, pass through security and customs all over again right? Or can I skip some steps?

Thanks!

Yes

No "skipping steps". Its the do it all process for you. ( This based on your indication you have 2 flight separate bookings)

If you are visiting Spain, France and Amsterdam, why did you not book a flight home from Amsterdam ??
