Hi,
I need to get my kids from Seville to the Madrid airport. Does the train go directly to the airport, or do they need to transfer from the Atocha station? If so, do I need to get another ticket once at the Atocha station?
I suppose that the answer will also apply going from Malaga to Madrid airport.
Thank you.
From both Sevilla and Malaga they will need to change to the airport train C1.
You may not need to buy separate tickets for the airport part since long distance AVE trains can include a "Combinado Cercanías" which covers the transfer. They will need to claim the ticket. This explains it better than I can -

Note the C1 goes to Terminal 4, which terminal are they using?
There are no direct trains to the airport. Go to the Atocha station and take the bus to the airport for both.
Thank you. Nick, the link you gave me was perfect.
