I will be in western Spain visiting Santiago de Compostela next Spring . I want to go to Porto Portugal from there. Rick's Spain guidebook says there are two trains per day, via Vigo. When I look on the Renfe website I cannot find out when these trains depart Santiago or arrive in either Vigo or Porto. Can someone help me out here?

I have not tried but am assuming that you are too early. Most train schedules are only posted six months at a time. Since schedules change little from one period to another, just look at the schedule for next month to get an idea of what the schedule would look like next spring.

I agree, and that is what I tried, unsuccessfully, to do. I think maybe my problem has to do with the June schedule changes. I'll just
wait a couple of weeks, then try it again.

As I recall, neither the Spanish nor the Portuguese web site has schedules much past their own border, and DB also doesn't reflect this one. Plan to check each side of the trip on their separate sites and reconfirm locally.
