Hi, My husband and I will be travelling to Spain from September 13-27th flying into Barcelona and out of Madrid and we also plan on visiting friends in Zaragoza and Leon while there. We're planning on taking the train from Barcelona to Zaragoza but I've discovered there is no direct train from Zaragoza to Leon or from Leon to Madrid, so it seems like our only option may be to travel straight on to Madrid, or rent a car. Unfortunately it's either still too early to look into train travel dates or I am just completely clueless! We fly out of Madrid so going to Madrid first, then up to Leon and back again is not preferable. Our friends are looking into options on their end too, but any help would be appreciated!

There are several direct trains per day from Leon to Madrid and two from Zaragoza to Leon. View schedules for the current period, up to June 11, through the DB link at How to Look Up Train Schedules and Routes Online or through the operator, www.renfe.es. You can't usually book tickets more than two months ahead.

Thanks so much! I thought it was still a bit early to confirm anything but I wanted to check and see what's available. I'll keep checking back and book as the time gets closer :)
