Train stations in Granada and Madrid

Planning to purchase tickets for the "fast" (AVE) train from Granada to Madrid.
Are there more than one train station in this cities?
Staying at the Paradore in Granada and Madrid Westin Palace in Madrid. What are the closest stations?
Thanks.

I'm sure this is obvious, but whilst in Madrid it's an easy walk from your hotel to Atocha railway station (or a quick taxi ride), in Granada you will need to take a taxi from the railway station to the parador. Whilst theoretically possible by public transport it would be a convoluted journey.

The Parador in Granada is difficult to get a reservation . Congratulations on getting a reservation there!

Have you been able to purchase train tickets? I see that they now have a nonstop train but I am unable to buy tickets for October 26th - I can get in the system for a few weeks earlier.

Thanks for any help.

Renfe has a somewhat quixotic approach to posting train tickets - and until they post them the web agencies can't sell them either. But don't worry - they will appear at some point and until they do others can't buy them either so the "promo" deals will still be available. Just keep checking back daily or so and eventually the tickets will be shown. As I've commented before, buying AVE (i.e. fast) railway tickets is the tiresome part - the actual AVE train service is brilliant.

Thanks for the information.
I finally got tickets on the Rick Steves train ticket site this morning after checking for weeks. We are traveling on 10/26. When I entered different/earlier dates sometimes tickets would show up and sometimes not. I do not understand their system for sure! and I definitely could not figure out Renfre's webpage. My Granada VRBO contact called Renfre and they said they posted tickets 30 days in advance.

That was the last detail and now I'm looking forward to a great trip.
