Do trains run from Barcelona to Madrid on Dec 24th?

Yes, they do. Tickets at www.renfe.es may possibly not go on sale the usual 60 days out, however, due to the December 11 schedule change across Europe.

Sure - should be regular schedule but service will be limited on the 25th.
