train Madrid to Granada September

I wondered about that too for a while and instead booked an Alsa bus the whole way (Madrid to Granada)

The only site for certainty is the RENFE site. If your date of travel is not appearing you are simply too early for the schedules to be uploaded. Look to an imminent date and you will see what will be likely and monitor at your convenience until they appear.
I think I would rather be on the more comfortable train and bus combination provided by RENFE for four hours than the bus for five or six.

.....and, if it matters for where you stay, you will arrive in near central Granada when coming by train and not on the outskirts with the bus.
