Train Itinerary from Madrid to Pamplona -- then to Seville

Hello,
We will be flying into Madrid July 4. As we were planning this trip, we noticed the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona will be the same time we are in Spain. We decided we didn't want to miss it! My question is- what is the train schedule (website I can make reservations) from Madrid to Pamplona and then from either Pamplona back to Madrid and on to Seville* or from Pamplona straight to Seville? We already have reservations for accommodations in Seville in July 8. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The first running of the bulls is on the 7th (San Fermin's Day) at 8 am

Check the buses, you probably get a better connection that way than the train. Alsa goes from the T4 and/or Ave. De las Americas to Soria to Pamplona. Check ALSA or PLM lines (Pamplona Logroño Madrid).

If you just want to see the running of the bulls, better to watch it on tv in Madrid. Be prepared if you do go to Pamplona because it will be crazy. Also you should try to book a place ASAP as it fills up fast and it is high season prices.

Backing the suggestion for buses, far more practical in this case. Clean, safest, modern, cheap, reliable, frequent...us locals normally favor the bus over the train (being both excellent ways to move around in Spain).

Buses can generally be a very good option in Spain, but where there are high speed trains they can save a lot of travel time. Like to Seville. I recommend Iryo, see schedules and prices at www.iryo.eu

Just a thought, Pamplona is just about the same distance from Paris as is it from Seville, +/- 900km
