I am on the renfe.com website trying to figure out cost and times to go from Granada to Sevilla on September 3rd, 2014. According to Rick's book there is 4 a day taking 3 hours but on the website I am getting an error that says there is no connection available. What am I doing wrong?

As advised, you are simply too early to see the schedules. Enter an imminent date, nothing or little will change. Perhaps monitor on a weekly basis, you are probably about four weeks away from confirmation.

As I recall 62 days is the first opportunity (and best prices) to book. If you know what you want, check then.

Price is about $35 per person in 2nd class and you should be able to buy that ticket at nearly any train station in Spain, or some travel agencies that sell Renfe tickets.
