Train between A Coruna and Ferrol

Is the train station at A Coruna open. We will be traveling from A Coruna to Ferrol to start the El Camino and I heard the station was closed. Is it still possible to take the train or is there another way to get to Ferrol?

The main station is closed for renovations, but there is another about ten minutes walk away operating services, according to Google.
