We are planning a trip to Spain - heading to Basque country. We start in Madrid - probably.
I was thinking that the train from Zaragoza to Miranda would be pretty scenic as it takes you along the Ebro River there - and possibly through the Rioja area.
Thinking of going to Vitoria for a look at a not too touristy Basque area and possible pretty natural areas. Bilbao for the museum is a must.
But what is there that is a bit unspoiled and not too discovered in that region - or the French Basque area. Need bus or train connections.
