Tour of Cordoba Jewish quarter, preferably including transportation from Sevilla

My wife and I will be in Sevilla later this month and are hoping to take a tour of the Jewish quarter in Cordoba. I would appreciate it if someone could provide suggestions re a good tour of the Cordoba Jewish quarter, one that preferably includes transportation from Sevilla. If you know of a good tour of the Cordoba Jewish quarter that does not include transportation from Sevilla, that would also be helpful. Thank you.

We toured Cordoba on our own making use of the Rick Steves guidebook. Most often the guidebooks include suggested tour guides. Cordoba is an easy train ride from Sevilla. You could use a cab to get to the old town area. Do you have plans to see the amazing Mezquita?

There is a small, but powerful, Jewish museum that we signed up for an English tour for. The Jewish quarter is very small as most of the Jews there left a long time ago. I would go to Cordoba then go to the Jewish museum. The very old Synagogue is right by the museum. You could contact one of the guides in the Rick Steves guidebook on Andalucia. Thats what we did, we used Angel and he gave us a tour of the Jewish quarter and the Mezquita.

I can't suggest a specific tour but want to point out that you can get to Cordoba much, much faster by train than by bus or car. You'll waste a lot of time by taking a tour originating in Seville unless that tour puts its clients on an express train. That would be a shame, because there's a lot to see in Cordoba; many folks have enjoyed spending multiple nights there.

We added the fast train to Cordoba from Seville after our tour with RS. Very easy train connection. The #3 bus outside the train station on the corner takes you through some of the new town and drops you off at the back of the Mezquita. We stay a night there and then took the train to Madrid to fly home. We also reserved a spot for the night tour of the Mezquita that was fab. No photos were allowed. The Jewish section of town is very small and RS book does a good job with his book describing what 5o see.

Double check hours of operations. We were there on a Monday and the synagogue and museum was closed.
