I am looking for a recommended tour guide for my aged parents in their late 70s. They would like to visit Madrid and surrounding areas in Spain. They can walk but get tired easily. A tour that can pick up and drop off right at entrances, offer a wheelchair when needed, etc. would be ideal. Spanish is their native tongue, but they do also speak English. I would tag along as well. Appreciate any insight. Thanks!
It sounds like you may need to hire a series of local guides/drivers to personalize the trip for your needs.
Hi Carol! Yes I am looking to hire a local tour guide and am hoping someone has experience and a recommendation.
Hi bexy, you don't say where you are from. Here in Canada, my mother is going to try one of the " Senior discovery tours" for Spain and Portugal. I'm not sure the loacation is what you are looking for, but it sounds like they are very focused on mobility, getting you door to door, etc.
Don't go in summer; Spain could be too hot and dehydrating for a senior that gets tired easily.
