Toulouse to Barcelona Transport

Firstly,
Thank you so very much for answering my questions as I have planned this adventure.
Currently I am trying to coordinate travel from Toulouse Airport to Barcelona airport via train.
I have been to the RENFE website and because travel is not until July, I cannot make arrangements.

I have read, in some places there is a train station within the Toulouse airport and, in others, one must take a shuttle.
It is described as a quick shuttle but prices do not reflect that.

Planning for a long trip with others has its challenges.

Thank you for your kind advice,
Nancy

Nelson - Watch the French train site rhttps://www.oui.sncf/ and sign up for an alert telling you what day the tickets go on-sale. You do that by trying to book. Since this is too early, the site will ask you if you want to sign up for an alert. You get cheapest prices that way. Be ready to pounce, and remember the time difference, so if tixs are released at 12:01 am in France, it’s 6pm on the East Coast, 5 in the middle, and 4pm on the West.

Never mind; somehow I turned Touluse into Bordeaux midway through this message. I'm deleting the whole thing!

Toulouse Blagnac airport is not served by train; see http://www.toulouse.aeroport.fr/en/passengers/go/access-airport/public-transport. Shuttle bus schedules (not tickets) at https://www.sncf.com/en - bus takes 25 minutes to Toulouse-Matabiau station and should not be expensive.

By rail, you'd just be booking a connection from Toulouse-Matabiau station to Barcelona Sants station with a change of trains at Narbonne.

Vueling flies nonstop between these cities on Thursdays and Sundays, cheaper than the train if you book ahead. (Easy Jet flies other days, but with a connection.)
