Debating where to stay on the coast. Like the walkability of Tossa Del Mar but afraid it will be too touristy/busy for my liking. Much prefer a quiet town and was initially thinking Begur but seems like it's quite a walk into the town from the coast. Would love to hear anyones thoughts on this, thank you!

Tossa de Mar is the most touristy beach town on the Costa Brava, it will be packed in June. It's still a nice place to visit but be prepared to rub shoulders with Northern Europeans on package holidays. In fact most beach towns on the Costa Brava will be pretty full in June- August. There are a few workaday port towns in the area you could look at like Sant Feliu de Guixols that are more locals living there and less geared towards mass tourism.
