We will be vacationing in Torremolinos for one week in September, and would like to do some day trips. We're a little confused on what bus lines to use. Would anyone have information on websites for bus lines, schedules, fares for the following routes that would help us?
1. Torremolinos - Fuengirola - Mijas, return
2. Torremolinos - Malaga (Gibralfaro Castle), return
3. Torremolinos - Nerja return
4. Torremolinos - Ronda return
Rome2Rio.com will identify bus companies operating on those routes. Just keep drilling down till you find the info. It will usually be in the form of a link to the company's website.
Ronda's about a 5-hour round-trip.

For journeys 1 and 2, you might consider using the railway - Malaga's C1 commuter "cercanias" line connects these places (not Mijas, though). Here's a map:

The timetables probably don't show up in RENFEs normal website, so instead go to this "special" page and pick Malaga province, then you can get a timetable between any two places on the C1.

For Malaga, Centro Almeda is the closest station to the centre, including the castle.
