Apparently there are some scams to avoid on these knives; does anyone know of a legitimate shop to buy from and what brand is a good one?
Thanks,
Jean

That's the shop I would suggest and plan to visit, but I don't want to ship home. I have to get through Atocha station security to Barcelona and am not quite sure how to do that. I have time to ask around at Atocha before arriving it Toledo, I think.
PS thanks for the YouTube, Enric.
-Something to declare, lady?
-uh, oh, no officer... just a souvenir

LOL!
No Enric, it would be two packs of steak knives getting through Madrid train security. Can't go through the luggage scanner without risk of being confiscated, and too big to fit in my pocket. I might be able to hand carry if boxed and wrapped in the store (and 'declare' them) but they could still be considered weapons. I could buy them in Barcelona after train journeys done, but defeats the purpose of trying to buy Toledo steel for kids' christmas presents.
Ship or buy them on line. Carrying them on the train will likely be a no-go. http://artesaniamorales.com/index.php/en/
