I have been trying to buy tickets online for this Monday 9 October but I haven’t had been able to get the website to show ticket info.
Does anyone know the correct website and how I might get tickets?
Thanks!
I believe you buy tickets onsite, not online. No timed entry required.
My husband and I just visited the Toledo Cathedral in January. This is what I had written in my notes, "Toledo Cathedral opens at 2:00 until 6:30 “THE SALES OF TICKETS WILL BE, AS USUAL, IN THE STORE OF THE CATHEDRAL AND THE ACCESS WILL BE AT ALL TIMES THROUGH THE FLAT DOOR.”
Opening hours are 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. MON -SAT, 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m on SUN
Unbeknownst to me, the day I decided to go to the Cathedral was some sort of religious holiday, so there was a considerable--but not insurmountable--ticket line. This was in June, I think, back in 2016. Just check the calendar to be sure there's nothing special about the day of your visit so you know what to expect.
The Toledo Cathedral is not one of the extremely popular sites that you have to buy advance tickets for. They probably do not sell advance tickets. I bought my ticket on site, at the last minute, when I showed up, sometime between approximately 5-6pm on a weekday. It worked fine. Buying your ticket will be easy to figure out when you show up. Follow the signs or the staff will point out where the ticket line is.
Thanks everyone. It sounds like we will have no problem getting tickets. : )
