What is the standard tip for private tour operators? We will be on a Mediterranean cruise in May & want to do the right thing.

First dont worry too much the tip culture is les importsnt over in europe. If i go on a private tour, one that is OWNER operated, then i dont tip.
For the tours that have an employee is the guide then i personally would tip out between 5-10 eros per person for an excellant HALF day tour. If tour sucked i would not tip.

If its a RS tour, they don't want tips. They do it for a higher purpose.
