Tickets to flamenco in Madrid

Myself, my husband and our 16 year old daughter are in Madrid this coming July and I want to book tickets in advance for flamenco dancing. I found a site recommended by one of Ricks guests (Tablao Las Carboneras). I think I can still pay a reduced rate for my daughter as the site stipulates "up to 16" in the ticket purchase area. However, my concern is the "up to" portion. I don't want to buy a ticket for her and then have trouble at the door because it was meant for kids who aren't yet 16. We would of course take along her passport to prove her age, but it's all a bit ambiguous in my mind. Thought I'd ask if anyone has had experience with this? Thank you!

I’ve not had direct experience with this venue. But, in our many trips to Europe I have found these age limit issues to be much more relaxed than in the US. We travel with our daughter who looks young and always buy the under 16 or 18 tickets and never get “carded”. She is 33. Buy the discount tickets. Flamenco is not native to Madrid so can’t vouch for the quality. It was superb in Sevilla.

I agree with above - the age restrictions are relaxed. We took our two teen girls to this show last summer and we all LOVED it! The food was delicious (and we are particular) and the service was very good. The dancing was great! Such a fun night!
